Gestalt Diagnostics Secures $7.5 Million to Enhance AI Pathology Platform
Gestalt Diagnostics has raised $7.5 million in Series A funding to expand its AI-powered PathFlow platform, announced in a press release. The funding round was led by Cowles Ventures, TVF Funds, Inland Imaging Investments, KickStart Funds, and prominent angel investors from the Pacific Northwest.
The PathFlow platform is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing laboratory information systems, enabling faster and more accurate diagnoses. It supports scoring of key biomarkers, allowing organizations to match patients to known therapies and generate datasets for research and drug development. The new funding will be used to expand the customer base, enhance AI capabilities, and pursue FDA clearance.
Gestalt's technology aims to transform pathology from a manual, microscope-based process to a scalable digital solution, similar to transitions seen in radiology and cardiology. The company plans to use the capital to broaden market adoption and increase profitability, addressing the rising cancer rates and declining number of practicing pathologists.
