GENISOM AI Debuts L1 Maker Educational Quadruped
In a press release, GENISOM AI introduced the Genisom L1 Maker educational quadruped at IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh. The platform gives students, educators and researchers access to assembly, system integration, calibration, motion control and algorithm development.
L1 Maker is based on the company's L1 platform and has 12 degrees of freedom, an 8 kg maximum payload and support for climbing slopes of up to 40 degrees. Open interfaces allow users to add sensors and computing hardware.
The company also presented MATRiX 2.0, its open source simulation platform for testing perception, navigation, locomotion and coordination among multiple robots. At the IROS Legged Robot Challenge, a Nanyang Technological University team used the GENISOM M1 quadruped to win the fully autonomous category.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
