Gemtek Technology Company Ltd has announced the OMDN-107 800Gbps DR Linear Pluggable Optics transceiver, designed for high-speed optical connectivity in AI and cloud data centers.

Gemtek Technology Company Ltd has announced the OMDN-107 800Gbps DR Linear Pluggable Optics (LPO) transceiver, announced in a press release. This new OSFP module incorporates the NewPhotonics NPG10202 LPO+™ transmitter-on-chip, featuring integrated lasers, modulators, and optical signal processing.

The OMDN-107 transceiver is designed to provide high-speed optical connectivity for modern AI and cloud data centers. It boasts integrated optical equalization and enhanced link performance in a compact, power-optimized architecture. This enables efficient, scalable interconnect solutions for hyperscalers and AI factories.

NewPhotonics collaborates with Gemtek to bring this advanced LPO solution to market, ensuring robust performance and minimized latency under real-world network conditions. The partnership aims to meet the growing demand for scalable, flexible, and sustainable optical solutions in the industry.
