Geekplus Expands Warehouse Robotics Across Two LPP Logistics Sites

Geekplus is expanding its warehouse automation partnership with LPP Logistics across two fulfillment centers in Poland, with more than 1,600 robots supporting storage and product movement.

Geekplus Robotics and LPP Logistics are expanding their warehouse automation partnership across two fulfillment centers in Poland, the companies said in a press release. More than 1,600 autonomous robots store and move fashion products across racks and workstations at the two sites.

The deployment combines RoboShuttle and P series robots with a Robot Management System that can coordinate more than 1,000 robots at one facility. Storage reaches about 12 metres in height, and the companies report 1.4 million automatic high bay storage locations and a 99 percent measured efficiency gain.

LPP Logistics can add robots, workstations and throughput capacity as storage needs and seasonal order volumes change. Geekplus completed the deployment in phases so the facilities could continue operating during installation.
