G42 and Government of India Formalize Framework for Condor Galaxy India AI Supercomputer
G42 and the Government of India have finalized the framework and commercial terms for Condor Galaxy India, an AI supercomputer cluster with 8 exaflops of computing capacity, announced in a press release. The system will include 64 Cerebras CS-3 units and is set to become one of the largest AI compute clusters in India.
The exchange of the agreement took place in Abu Dhabi during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official visit, witnessed by H.H. Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The signing was carried out between H.E. Mansoor Al Mansoori, CEO of G42 International, and Mr. Vikram Misri, Foreign Secretary of India.
Under the agreement, G42 will work with India's Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to handle the installation, deployment, operation, and maintenance of the cluster. Condor Galaxy India will support joint research and development in health, genomics, energy, and geospatial analytics, enabling collaboration between researchers and institutions from both countries.
