Fujitsu Expands AI Strategy with OpenAI and Anthropic Partnerships

Fujitsu has announced new collaborations with OpenAI and Anthropic to advance AI transformation in Japan's enterprise sector, according to a press release.

The partnership with Anthropic will combine its AI model Claude with Fujitsu's expertise in system integration and operations. Fujitsu plans to use Claude to support customers in applying AI to business processes and to improve productivity across its workforce. The company will also employ its own AI technologies, including Fujitsu Kozuchi and Takane, to design and integrate solutions tailored to different industry needs.

At the same time, Fujitsu is working with OpenAI to incorporate its technologies into Fujitsu's AI service portfolio. Employees will use OpenAI models to develop collaborative workflows between humans and AI agents for tasks such as development, operations, and service delivery. Fujitsu will apply its reliability enhancement technologies to ensure safety, transparency, and controllability in AI usage.

Both collaborations aim to strengthen AI adoption among Japanese enterprises and enhance the safety and reliability of critical social infrastructure.
