Former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke has launched a new developer tools startup, Entire, which raised $60 million in seed funding led by Felicis at a $300 million valuation. The company offers open-source tools to help developers manage AI-generated code.

Former Thomas Dohmke, previously CEO of GitHub, has founded Entire, which has raised $60 million in seed funding led by Felicis at a $300 million valuation, reports TechCrunch.

Entire develops open-source tools designed to help developers manage and understand code generated by AI agents. Its platform includes a git-compatible database to unify AI-produced code, a semantic reasoning layer for collaboration among multiple AI agents, and an AI-native interface for agent-human interaction.

The company’s first product, called Checkpoints, automatically pairs each AI-generated code submission with its creation context, such as prompts and transcripts. This allows human developers to review and search the reasoning behind AI-generated contributions.

Dohmke, who led GitHub for four years before departing in August 2025, said that traditional software development systems were never designed for the scale of code now being produced by AI. Other investors in the round include Madrona, M12, Basis Set, Harry Stebbings, Jerry Yang, and Datadog CEO Olivier Pomel.
