Fora Raises $60 Million Series D at $1 Billion Valuation
Fora has closed a $60 million Series D round at a $1 billion post-money valuation, announced in a press release. The round was led by Forerunner Ventures and Tactile Ventures, with continued participation from Thrive Capital, Insight Partners, and Heartcore Capital. New investors PLUS Capital, BlackPines Capital Partners, Tribeca Venture Partners, and individuals including Amy Schumer joined the round.
Fora said the funding follows a period of growth in which advisors on its platform have booked more than $3 billion in travel since its launch in 2021. The company reached its first billion in lifetime bookings in three years, the second in eight months, and the third in five months.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its travel categories, enter new markets, and deepen AI capabilities for its embedded assistant, Via. Currently in beta testing with top advisors, Via supports destination research, supplier information, itinerary creation, and proposal generation to reduce administrative work.
Fora reports that it now has over 15,000 active advisors, most of whom are new to the profession. The platform supports a range of businesses, from part-time income earners to high-volume advisors managing over $10 million in annual bookings. The company said this investment will also support hiring and continued development of its technology for travel professionals.
