Flytrex Appoints Noam Bardin as Executive Chairman

September 11, 2025
Flytrex has appointed Noam Bardin, former CEO of Waze and Google VP, as Executive Chairman to lead its expansion across the U.S. following FAA approval.

Flytrex has appointed Noam Bardin, the former CEO of Waze and Google Vice President, as Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors. This appointment comes as Flytrex aims to scale its autonomous drone food delivery service across the United States. Bardin's extensive experience in scaling consumer-focused transportation technologies is expected to play a crucial role in this expansion announced in a press release.

Bardin joins Flytrex at a significant time, as the company recently received Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This approval allows Flytrex to operate in the 37 largest metro areas in the U.S., potentially reaching over 100 million people. The BVLOS approval follows Flytrex's partnership with DoorDash and collaboration with Wing, enabling shared airspace through autonomous flight coordination.

In his new role, Bardin will focus on transitioning Flytrex from a research and development-focused company to a business operations-focused enterprise. His leadership is expected to guide Flytrex through this pivotal transition, leveraging the recent FAA approval to aggressively roll out infrastructure and scale services.
