Fluent has launched SmartClaimFocus, a new platform aimed at improving dental claims management by identifying opportunities for fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA). Announced in a press release, SmartClaimFocus leverages dental claims data from DentaBase and Fluent's AI-powered rules engine to enhance decision-making and resource allocation.

The platform provides a provider-level breakdown, allowing users to identify specific providers frequently flagged for risky behavior. It also prioritizes rules by FWA impact, enabling users to focus on high-impact opportunities. Additionally, SmartClaimFocus offers a processor view to assess the effectiveness of adjudication processes and supports data export for easy information sharing.

Paul Sheils, CEO of Fluent, emphasized the platform's ability to bring clarity to complex claims data, making claim reviews more strategic. This launch marks a significant milestone in Fluent's innovation efforts, with more products expected to follow.
