Firebird Opens NVIDIA DSX AI Factory in Armenia

Firebird has opened an NVIDIA DSX AI factory in Armenia and outlined plans to deploy more than 70,000 NVIDIA GPUs across Armenia, Kazakhstan, and other markets by the end of 2028.

Firebird announced in a press release the official launch of what it calls the region's largest NVIDIA DSX AI factory in Armenia. The inauguration included remarks from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Jensen Huang, and other officials.

The site marks the operational debut of Firebird's global AI infrastructure platform. Firebird said the factory is designed to support up to 40% more GPUs within the same footprint.

The company also outlined an expansion plan that includes NVIDIA Vera Rubin and Blackwell platforms with more than 70,000 NVIDIA GPUs. Firebird said it is targeting a global AI infrastructure pipeline of 2 gigawatts by the end of 2028 across Armenia, Kazakhstan, and additional markets.
