Fictiv has announced an agreement to be acquired by MISUMI Group Inc. for $350 million, announced in a press release. This acquisition will see Fictiv join forces with MISUMI, a leading global supplier of mechanical components, to build a comprehensive global manufacturing platform.

The all-cash transaction is expected to enhance the capabilities of both companies by integrating Fictiv's AI-driven technology workflows with MISUMI's extensive global logistics and manufacturing network. Fictiv has been instrumental in producing over 35 million components for various industries, including aerospace, robotics, and automotive.

MISUMI, headquartered in Japan, supplies mechanical components to over 318,000 companies worldwide. The acquisition aims to leverage both companies' strengths to offer a unified platform for manufacturing and supply chain solutions, promising improved speed, price, and quality for customers globally. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
