Fibocom Unveils AI-Enhanced FWA Solutions at MWC 2025

Fibocom has introduced the FWA AI SkyEngine at MWC Barcelona 2025, a suite of solutions designed to integrate AI into 5G FWA terminals, enhancing smart home and business connectivity. Announced in a press release, the FWA AI SkyEngine includes four key components: the Modem AI SDK, Smart Home SDK, Gen AI SDK, and the FIBO xOS Platform.

The Modem AI SDK integrates AI models directly into 5G processors, enabling intelligent network fault detection and enhanced wireless performance. The Smart Home SDK supports platforms like Matter, allowing FWA terminals to perceive environmental changes and offer personalized smart home experiences.

Fibocom's Gen-AI SDK is compatible with large-scale AI models such as ChatGPT, enabling new business models for AI-powered FWA services. The FIBO xOS Platform supports development across multiple chip platforms, facilitating customized solutions for FWA terminal customers.
