Faction Networks has partnered with the University at Albany’s College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity to advance research, testing, and workforce development in cybersecurity.

Faction Networks has announced a new partnership with the University at Albany’s College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity (CEHC) to strengthen cybersecurity research, testing, and education, announced in a press release.

The collaboration will focus on three areas: testing and validating Faction’s secure networking technologies, developing new models for cyber insurance, and creating lab-based programs that give students hands-on experience with advanced cybersecurity systems. The initiative also includes pilot programs for local businesses in New York’s Capital Region.

As part of the partnership, Faction’s hardware and software platforms will be integrated into CEHC’s labs to support both academic research and practical training. The program aims to connect classroom learning with real-world cybersecurity applications and recruitment opportunities.

Faction Networks will highlight the partnership during the “State of Grace: Women in Tech” conference at the University at Albany on November 7, where it will preview its platform and discuss how public-private collaboration can enhance cybersecurity and workforce readiness.
