Ezurio Introduces BL54LM20 Modules With Edge AI

Ezurio introduced its BL54LM20 Series in a press release, including the BL54LM20A, BL54LM20B, and BL54LM20B USB-C Adapter. Beta samples will ship in October 2026.

The modules use SoCs from Nordic Semiconductor and include a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor, a 128 MHz RISC-V coprocessor, 2 MB of nonvolatile memory, and 512 KB of RAM. Both modules support Bluetooth LE, Thread and Matter connectivity, NFC, secure boot, secure firmware updates, and secure storage.

The BL54LM20B adds a Nordic Axon neural processing unit for offline AI inference. Ezurio says it delivers up to 15 times faster inference than CPU only processing. The two modules share the same footprint, radio design, and certification, allowing designers to switch variants without redesigning a board or repeating certification.

The USB-C Adapter places the BL54LM20B in a certified device for gateways, computers, development systems, and production equipment. Ezurio lists sensors, medical devices, industrial automation, robotics, asset tracking, and smart buildings among the target uses.
