EverestLabs has launched Navigator, an agentic AI platform for material processing, recovery, and recycling facilities, the company announced in a press release.

Navigator combines edge vision models that classify material on conveyor belts, vision language models that interpret each stream, and reasoning and conversational agents that recommend actions or trigger them through facility systems. The platform is designed for facilities handling plastics, fiber, and metals.

EverestLabs says Navigator connects to existing plant control networks and older equipment without retrofits or production stoppages. The system monitors equipment health, tracks anomalies, and coordinates sorting and processing in a continuous loop.

The company says the platform can raise facility throughput by 20 to 30 percent in some cases, reduce downtime, identify recoverable materials being sent to landfill, and provide data for regulatory audits and Extended Producer Responsibility reporting. EverestLabs said early customers and partners include Caglia Environmental, Schneider Electric, and Pellenc ST.
