Enverus Launches Global Research Offering with Vaca Muerta Insights
Enverus has launched its Global Research offering, a new addition to its portfolio of oil and gas intelligence solutions, announced in a press release. This product is designed to provide comprehensive datasets covering global oil wells, production volumes, and exploration blocks, all hosted on the Enverus PRISM® platform.
The inaugural report focuses on Argentina's Vaca Muerta shale play, highlighting significant acquisition opportunities. Enverus reports that buyers are acquiring assets at a fraction of the cost compared to similar North American shale assets, with deals averaging $1 million per undeveloped well location versus $4 million in the U.S.
The report also notes a 24% decline in liquids-weighted well productivity in Vaca Muerta since 2021, a trend that has received minimal attention. Despite this, Enverus remains optimistic about the play's potential for growth and strong medium-term returns. The Global Research product will cover both conventional and unconventional assets worldwide, offering valuation models and activity forecasts for energy investors and strategic planners.
