Emergent Reaches $100M ARR and Launches Mobile App for On-the-Go Software Creation

Emergent has reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue just eight months after launch and introduced its new mobile app, Emergent AI, allowing users to build and publish apps directly from their smartphones.

Emergent has reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) only eight months after launch and introduced a new mobile app that allows users to create and publish software directly from their smartphones, announced in a press release.

The Emergent AI mobile app enables users to build full applications by voice command, such as saying “Build me a mobile app that…” and having the platform generate a production-ready app. The app supports seamless editing between mobile and desktop, letting users publish directly to the App Store and Google Play.

Emergent reported that more than six million builders across over 190 countries have created seven million applications on its platform. In early access, more than 10,000 mobile apps were built and shipped through the new mobile app.

The company recently closed a $70 million Series B round, bringing total funding to $100 million from investors including Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together, Y Combinator, and Google’s AI Futures Fund.
