Ellucian has been recognized as the SaaS Organization of the Year at the 2025 Stratus Awards for Cloud Computing, honoring its cloud innovation in higher education and the launch of its AI-powered Journey platform.

Ellucian has been named the Software as a Service (SaaS) Organization of the Year in the 2025 Stratus Awards for Cloud Computing, announced in a press release. The awards, organized by the Business Intelligence Group, recognize companies advancing innovation in cloud technology.

Ellucian was selected for its work in developing secure, scalable SaaS solutions for higher education institutions. A key factor in the company's recognition was the launch of Journey, an AI-powered lifelong learning solution that connects academic programs to workforce needs through intelligent skill mapping and personalized education pathways.

According to the announcement, Ellucian’s cloud-based platform supports more than 2,800 customers across 50 countries, serving 20 million students. The platform provides tools for student recruitment, enrollment, retention, workforce analytics, and alumni engagement, leveraging AI to improve institutional efficiency and student outcomes.
