Ellucian has introduced 'Journey', an AI-driven lifelong learning platform that connects education programs to workforce needs, already adopted by over 100 institutions.

Ellucian has launched 'Journey', an AI-powered lifelong learning platform designed to link higher education programs with workforce requirements, announced in a press release. The company reported that more than 100 institutions have adopted the platform, with 20 currently in active implementation.

Unveiled at Ellucian Live 2025, Journey uses artificial intelligence and large language models to map learners' skills to industry-recognized standards. It provides personalized course and career recommendations, helping students align their education with job opportunities and track skill progression.

Key features include AI-driven recommendations, comprehensive skills mapping, gamified learning, and deep system integration. The George Washington University participated as a development partner, highlighting the tool’s ability to help students visualize how their education connects to specific career paths.

Journey has received recognition across multiple award programs, including being named a finalist for the EdTech Awards' Professional Skills category and the AI Awards' Most Innovative AI Technology category.
