Elevat has announced that its AI and IoT platform powers Captium IQ, a new AI Technician developed by HURST Jaws of Life, part of IDEX Fire and Safety. The system provides guided diagnostics and real-time service insights for rescue equipment.

Elevat has announced its role in powering the launch of Captium IQ, an AI Technician developed by HURST Jaws of Life, part of IDEX Fire and Safety, according to a press release. The system is built on Elevat’s AI and IoT platform and is designed to enhance how rescue equipment is serviced, maintained, and kept ready for deployment.

Captium IQ integrates diagnostics, guided service workflows, and data insights to improve equipment readiness and minimize downtime. It unifies equipment data, service records, documentation, and diagnostic intelligence into one system that provides step-by-step guidance to technicians in the field.

Through a mobile application, Captium IQ enables technicians to diagnose issues faster, access expert-level guidance in real time, and standardize service procedures. The platform also increases visibility into maintenance patterns and supports more proactive service strategies. Availability begins in May 2026.

Elevat’s platform allows original equipment manufacturers to embed intelligence directly into their service operations, creating systems that can reason through complex scenarios and support technicians during critical maintenance tasks.
