Electreon has signed a collaboration agreement with ATLoS to integrate wireless charging technology into autonomous vehicles for industrial environments.

Electreon has signed a collaboration agreement with ATLoS, a Portugal-based autonomous vehicle supplier, to integrate wireless charging technology into autonomous vehicles for industrial environments. This partnership, announced in a press release, aims to enhance operational efficiency by enabling seamless, hands-free charging for vehicles operating along fixed routes in manufacturing compounds, logistics hubs, and warehouse environments.

The collaboration will see Electreon's wireless charging technology embedded into the ground along fixed operational routes, allowing ATLoS vehicles to charge dynamically while in motion or statically when parked at loading docks. This eliminates the need for manual plugging and reduces downtime, thereby optimizing fleet operations for 24/7 automation.

The initial project will involve the deployment of Electreon's hardware and software solutions in ATLoS's autonomous vehicles within an area operated by an existing ATLoS customer. This initiative represents a significant step towards scalable, intelligent infrastructure for industrial automation, combining the transformative technologies of autonomous driving and wireless energy transfer.
