EDGE Markets Adds Controlled Capital Access for AI Agents

Oct 6, 2026
EDGE Markets is adding programmable capital controls to EDGE Pro, allowing institutions to set permissions and transaction limits for AI agents and trading algorithms.

EDGE Markets announces in a press release new capital controls for AI agents and trading algorithms through its EDGE Pro business banking platform. The capabilities will become available to all EDGE Pro users later in 2026.

Institutions can create authenticated accounts with defined permissions, approved recipients and daily transaction limits. Agents and algorithms can conduct authorized activities within those limits without unrestricted access to the underlying institutional accounts.

EDGE Connect will also let traders authorize approved clearing houses to collect additional margin automatically, up to a specified limit. The feature covers margin obligations that arise overnight or during weekends, when bank wires may be unavailable.

River Markets, Open Markets, ParlayX and Pikkit will integrate the controls through EDGE Markets APIs. Users will be able to keep capital in EDGE Pro while executing trades through participating platforms and venues.
