DXC Technology to Lead Digital Transformation for the Metropolitan Police
DXC Technology has been selected as the primary provider to lead the Metropolitan Police Service's digital transformation program, announced in a press release. The agreement, lasting seven years with two possible one-year extensions, was awarded following a competitive tender process.
Under the contract, DXC will implement new enterprise resource planning (ERP) and resource management (RM) systems, replacing existing platforms. The company will also support the transformation of human resources, commercial, and financial services to enable real-time data use and streamline internal processes.
The initiative, signed between DXC and the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), aims to enhance collaboration across departments, improve transparency, and reduce operational costs. The project aligns with the Metropolitan Police’s “New Met for London” strategy, focusing on modernizing technology and improving resource management.
DXC stated that the program will leverage Oracle Fusion SaaS and artificial intelligence to support strategic workforce management for police operations. The company’s experience in digital transformation for public sector organizations will be applied to simplify the force’s technology landscape and improve frontline performance.
