Diagens Reports 134% Annual Revenue Growth Driven by Medical Imaging Model

April 30, 2026
Hangzhou-based Diagens reported RMB 164 million in annual revenue for its first year since listing, a 133.7% increase, with licensing from its iMedImage foundation model emerging as the main growth driver.

Diagens announced in a press release its first annual results since listing, reporting RMB 164 million in revenue for the year, a 133.7% increase over the previous period. Licensing of its proprietary iMedImage foundation model accounted for RMB 84.34 million, a 331.7% rise, making it the company's main revenue source. Gross profit reached RMB 118 million, with a margin of 71.8%.

The iMedImage model contains 104 billion parameters and covers 19 imaging modalities and 26 clinical specialties. It enables faster and lower-cost development of specialized medical imaging models by providing a standardized foundation. Diagens stated that this approach reduces development time and cost by more than 90% compared to traditional disease-specific models.

The company launched its iMed MaaS platform in 2025, partnering with 65 hospitals within six months to develop 92 specialized models. Diagens' technology is now used in over 400 medical institutions in China, including 40% of the country's top ten hospitals. The company also plans to expand internationally, positioning itself as a global healthcare AI infrastructure provider.

Looking ahead, Diagens intends to deepen partnerships with technology companies such as Tencent to integrate its foundation model into a broader "Device + Service + Data" ecosystem aimed at supporting healthcare delivery worldwide.
