Deezer Will Add Filter for Music Generated by AI
Deezer will introduce a filter for music generated by AI before the end of 2026, according to TechCrunch. When enabled, the setting will remove affected tracks, albums, and artists from search results.
Deezer said a previous survey found that about 45 percent of its customers wanted an option to remove music generated by AI from their feeds.
The company added AI detection tools in 2025, when such tracks accounted for 10 percent of daily uploads. By July 2026, the figure had risen above 50 percent, averaging 90,000 tracks per day.
