Decoy Therapeutics Advances AI-Driven Antiviral Platform with Google Cloud Partnership
Decoy Therapeutics announced it is entering a critical phase toward clinical development, highlighting several milestones that strengthen its antiviral pipeline and AI capabilities, according to a press release. The company has formed a strategic AI partnership with Quantori and Google Cloud to expand computational peptide design capacity by up to 100 times, accelerating candidate discovery and optimization.
At the core of Decoy’s approach is its IMP³ACT platform, which combines AI-driven design, machine learning, and rapid peptide synthesis to shorten drug development timelines. The platform supports the creation of multi-antiviral therapies—called Designable Multi-Antivirals (D-MAVs)—that can target multiple viruses through shared mechanisms.
Decoy’s pipeline includes DCOY-COV, a pan-coronavirus candidate expected to enter Phase 1 trials in 2027, and DCOY-TRI, designed to address multiple respiratory viruses including influenza, coronavirus, and RSV. Both are supported by global health partnerships and non-dilutive funding.
Upcoming milestones include lead candidate selection, IND-enabling studies, and preparations for first-in-human trials. The company plans to continue publishing preclinical data and pursuing strategic partnerships as it advances toward clinical-stage operations.
