Databricks Raises $5 Billion at $190 Billion Valuation
Databricks has raised $5 billion at a $190 billion valuation, according to TechCrunch. CEO Ali Ghodsi told TechCrunch the company initially wanted to raise $1 billion, but investor interest reached $15 billion after reports of a larger fundraising effort.
The round was led by Coatue and included Blackstone, MGX, accounts associated with T. Rowe Price, and new investor Sixth Street Growth. About two dozen investors participated.
Ghodsi said Databricks has reached $7 billion in annual revenue run rate, growing 80 percent, and is cash flow positive. He said its cloud data warehouse accounts for $1.5 billion of that run rate and is growing 100 percent year over year.
The company said it is spending on AI research, cloud commitments, and acquisitions. Ghodsi also cited Lakebase, its database for agents, which has reached a $100 million revenue run rate since launching in June 2025.
