DC Market Insights forecasts the global data center precision air conditioning market will grow from $4.88 billion in 2025 to $10 billion by 2035, the firm said in a press release. The forecast represents annual growth of 7.43% from 2025 to 2035.

Fan walls and thermal walls are projected to reach $2.73 billion by 2035, while service and maintenance will reach $2.35 billion. The report estimates that about 12 GW of new data center capacity each year supports roughly $2.75 billion in annual spending on precision air conditioning for new construction.

North America accounted for 40.5% of the market in 2025, followed by Asia Pacific at 27.5% and Europe at 23.5%. The report expects direct liquid cooling to handle more heat from dense AI systems, while air cooling continues to manage residual heat, room conditions and areas with mixed rack densities.
