Danaher Corporation has announced the appointment of Martin Stumpe as Chief Technology and AI Officer, effective October 1, 2025, announced in a press release. Stumpe will report directly to Rainer Blair, President and CEO of Danaher.

This appointment is a significant step in Danaher's digital transformation strategy, aiming to enhance innovation in life sciences and diagnostics. Under Stumpe's leadership, the company plans to accelerate AI integration across its global operations, aiming to unlock new levels of scientific discovery and operational efficiency.

Martin Stumpe joined Danaher in 2024 as Chief Data and AI Officer, bringing experience from his previous roles at Tempus and Google. His background includes founding the Cancer Pathology project at Google and working with NASA's Ames Research Center. Stumpe holds a Ph.D. in Computational & Theoretical Physics from the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Germany.
