Cresta Introduces Conductor for Building AI Agents with Natural Language
Cresta has launched Conductor, a developer-focused engine for creating and optimizing conversational AI agents, announced in a press release. The system enables technical teams to design, test, and refine agents using natural language, drawing from customer conversations, platform data, and knowledge bases.
Conductor supports the full lifecycle of agent development. It begins with a discovery phase that generates a reviewable blueprint before coding starts. From this blueprint, Conductor automatically builds the complete agent, including prompt logic, subagent orchestration, configurations, and custom code for specific actions.
The platform integrates with Cresta’s Testing Suite and Synthetic Customers to run pre-launch tests, identify failures, and suggest fixes. After deployment, Conductor continues to monitor performance, diagnose issues, and propose prioritized improvements. According to Cresta, engineers can deploy production-grade AI agents twice as fast using Conductor compared to previous methods.
Cresta describes Conductor as a purpose-built system that maintains human oversight while accelerating AI agent creation across complex enterprise environments.
