CoreWeave and Bulk Infrastructure Partner for Major NVIDIA AI Deployment in Europe
CoreWeave and Bulk Infrastructure have announced a partnership to establish one of the largest NVIDIA AI deployments in Europe at the N01 Datacenter Campus in Vennesla, Norway, according to a press release. This collaboration will see CoreWeave deploying a large-scale NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 cluster, interconnected with NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking, significantly enhancing compute capacity in Norway.
The deployment is expected to be operational by Summer 2025 and is part of CoreWeave's broader $2.2 billion investment across Europe to build new data centers powered by 100% renewable energy. The N01 Datacenter Campus, located in Southern Norway, is strategically positioned next to one of the largest transformer stations in Europe and is supplied by multiple hydropower stations.
CoreWeave's Chief Business Officer, Mike Mattacola, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting Bulk's commitment to sustainability and scalable infrastructure as key factors in their collaboration. Bulk Infrastructure's CEO, Jon Gravråk, noted that working with CoreWeave marks a significant milestone for the company, demonstrating their capability to meet the demands of major AI deployments.
