Corero Network Security has introduced a new SmartWall ONE capability that blocks encrypted application-layer DDoS attacks in real time, announced in a press release. The feature mitigates Layer 7 TLS attacks without latency, decryption, or additional infrastructure.

The update uses AI-assisted detection and real-time intelligence feeds to stop threats instantly while maintaining network performance and privacy. It provides service providers and enterprises with protection across Layers 3 to 7, including encrypted traffic.

According to Corero, the enhancement allows organizations to defend public-facing applications without redesigning infrastructure or increasing operational overhead. The inline architecture complements traditional web application firewalls and helps ensure service continuity during encrypted DDoS attacks.
