Copado Renews FedRAMP Authorization and Pursues IL5 for U.S. Military Support

November 17, 2025
Copado has renewed its FedRAMP Authority to Operate for GovCloud and is advancing toward Impact Level 5 authorization to support Department of War environments.

Copado has renewed its Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Authority to Operate (ATO) for its GovCloud platform, announced in a press release. The renewal follows a comprehensive Agency Sponsor Risk Review and third-party assessment, extending the platform's authorization for use by U.S. federal agencies.

Copado GovCloud remains the only DevOps platform for Salesforce to hold FedRAMP, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and GDPR compliance. The company works with multiple federal agencies, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, to improve software delivery and cloud modernization.

Building on the renewed authorization, Copado is now pursuing Impact Level 5 (IL5) certification to support U.S. Department of War environments handling Controlled Unclassified Information. The company’s efforts align with Salesforce’s Missionforce initiative, which focuses on defense, intelligence, and aerospace solutions powered by AI and cloud technologies.
