Cognizant to Acquire Astreya to Expand AI Managed Services
Cognizant has entered a definitive agreement to acquire Astreya, a global IT managed services and solutions provider headquartered in San Jose, California, according to a press release. The acquisition amount was not disclosed.
Astreya operates in more than thirty-five countries and has long-term managed services relationships with six of the largest technology companies. Its proprietary AI OpsHub platform includes modules for readiness assessment, signal intelligence, analytics, and agentic automation. The company’s Tech Innovation Office and AI expertise will be integrated into Cognizant’s global delivery operations.
Cognizant stated that the acquisition will enhance its AI infrastructure foundation and expand its ability to deliver enterprise solutions at scale. Astreya’s partnerships with Google Cloud Platform and ServiceNow will also become part of Cognizant’s ecosystem, supporting its strategy to operationalize AI systems and accelerate enterprise transformation.
