Cognizant and CrowdStrike Launch OT Security Service

Cognizant and CrowdStrike introduced Cognizant Cybersecurity for Operational Technology, powered by CrowdStrike Falcon for XIoT, for industrial IT and OT environments.

Cognizant and CrowdStrike have expanded their June 2026 strategic alliance on enterprise AI security with a new Operational Technology security service, announced in a press release.

The service is called Cognizant Cybersecurity for Operational Technology and is powered by CrowdStrike Falcon for XIoT. It combines Cognizant managed security operations and industrial engineering work with CrowdStrike visibility and protection across XIoT and IT environments.

The companies said the service covers OT asset discovery and visibility, threat detection and response, vulnerability management, attack surface management, identity and data protection, and governance and compliance. Cognizant will support the service through an assess, architect, act, and assure lifecycle across six OT security domains.

The service includes 24x7 managed operations for industrial organizations. The companies said their partnership, which began in 2025, has secured clients in manufacturing, energy, and critical infrastructure.
