CMES Robotics USA and Engineering Innovation will present a fully integrated AI-powered parcel handling system at MODEX 2026 in Atlanta, combining CMES’s AI Vision picking with EII’s Chameleon Parcel Sorting System.

In a press release, CMES Robotics USA and Engineering Innovation announced they will showcase a fully integrated AI-powered parcel handling system at MODEX 2026, held April 13–16 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The joint solution combines CMES Robotics’ AI Vision piece-picking technology with Engineering Innovation’s Chameleon Parcel Sorting System. The system automates the process of moving parcels from gaylords to conveyors, addressing one of the most labor-intensive steps in distribution and fulfillment operations.

Live demonstrations will highlight how CMES’s AI Vision identifies and grips parcels of varying shapes and sizes directly from bulk containers and places them onto conveyors for downstream processing. The integrated setup is designed to increase throughput and reduce manual labor by automating parcel handling tasks that typically require human intervention.

The companies stated that the system provides a production-ready solution for parcel operations facing variable packaging and high-volume conditions. MODEX 2026 is North America’s major supply chain and logistics trade show, gathering automation and robotics industry leaders from across the sector.
