Circus SE Begins Production of Advanced AI-Powered Meal Robot
Circus SE has announced the launch and production start of its latest AI-powered meal production robot, the CA-1 Series 4, as stated in a press release. This new generation robot features major upgrades, including an electromagnetic-gripping system, redesigned induction modules for improved energy efficiency, and a new hygiene module.
The CA-1 Series 4 is designed for industrial-scale food service, capable of serving up to 500 meals per ingredient load. It boasts a significantly lighter architecture, reducing its weight by over 450 kg. The robot also includes vertically integrated AI-voice ordering, enhancing the user experience.
Production of the CA-1 Series 4 has officially begun, with the first units expected to ship to customers by summer 2025. This marks a significant step in Circus SE's global rollout strategy, aiming to redefine autonomous food service with improved throughput, intelligence, and user experience.
