Momentum 8.4 adds conversational analytics, automated financial recommendations, compliance integrations and six workspaces for US federal agencies.

CGI Federal announced in a press release the release of Momentum 8.4, an updated financial, acquisition and budget management system for US federal agencies. The release is available now.

Momentum 8.4 adds conversational analytics through an AI agent that helps users access and interpret agency data. It also includes improved management of unliquidated obligation and commitment balances, plus automated recommendations for credit card reconciliation.

The release introduces six workspaces covering budget execution, automated matching, transactions between government agencies, ordering, credit card statement reconciliation and GO.gov travel management. Compliance updates include integration with GO.gov and the IRS Information Returns Intake System, along with new payment justification capabilities.
