Century Health Raises $5 Million Seed Round to Expand AI Clinical Data Platform
Century Health has raised $5 million in an oversubscribed seed round led by Origin Ventures, with participation from InnovateHealth Ventures, 25madison, Next Play Ventures, 2048 Ventures, and Alumni Ventures, announced in a press release. The funding will be used to expand collaborations with pharmaceutical and life sciences partners, grow its specialty provider data network, and enhance its AI data curation infrastructure.
Century Health’s CHARM platform automates the identification and abstraction of fragmented clinical data, producing structured real world evidence from unstructured sources like clinical notes and radiology reports. The system now achieves 97 percent accuracy when validated against clinical expert judgment, a benchmark used by research and regulatory partners.
Over the past year, the company expanded its provider data network sixtyfold, covering neurology, nephrology, ophthalmology, respiratory, metabolic, and immunology. Several top five pharmaceutical companies are already partners. The new funding will support further development of CHARM’s capabilities in complex data abstraction and harmonization, as well as expansion of disease-specific registries.
