Capacity has acquired DevRefactory, a customer experience software platform specializing in omnichannel journey orchestration, embedded middleware, and integrated managed services, announced in a press release.

Hyde Park Capital served as the exclusive investment banker for DevRefactory, with Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick acting as legal counsel. The transaction is expected to strengthen Capacity’s ability to unify customer interactions across multiple communication channels while maintaining context and improving automation.

DevRefactory’s platform enables enterprises to coordinate customer engagement across voice, chat, web, and social platforms. It also provides managed services for implementation and optimization. Founded in 2020, the company’s OCX suite powers self-service tools and chatbot experiences for large organizations.

Capacity, founded in 2017 and headquartered in St. Louis, operates an AI support automation platform used by more than 20,000 organizations. The company offers tools for conversational AI, workflow automation, and advanced analytics across multiple industries including financial services, healthcare, and retail.
