Camtek Reports Q1 2026 Results and Projects 25% Revenue Growth for Second Half

Camtek Ltd. reported first quarter 2026 revenues of $121.7 million and expects over 25% revenue growth in the second half of the year, supported by strong order momentum and recent AI capability expansions.

Camtek Ltd. announced in a press release its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, reporting revenues of $121.7 million, a 2.5% increase from the same period in 2025. The company achieved a GAAP gross margin of 50.1% and a non-GAAP gross margin of 51.0%.

GAAP operating income for the quarter was $27.3 million, while non-GAAP operating income reached $31.1 million. Net income on a GAAP basis was $31.6 million, or $0.63 per diluted share, compared with $34.3 million, or $0.70 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2025. Cash and cash equivalents, short-term and long-term deposits, and marketable securities totaled $849.7 million as of March 31, 2026.

Camtek expects second quarter 2026 revenues between $129 million and $131 million. Management anticipates more than 25% revenue growth in the second half of 2026 compared with the first half, citing strong demand and a growing order backlog.

The company continues to invest in AI-based algorithms and software, supported by its recent acquisition of Visual Layer. These new capabilities are being applied to detection, metrology, and classification systems that Camtek says are already showing improved performance.
