C2A Security has acquired Pittsburgh-based Vigilant Ops, a company specializing in product security and SBOM automation for healthcare and MedTech organizations. The acquisition enhances C2A's AI-driven security platform and broadens its reach into regulated industries.
C2A Security has acquired Pittsburgh-based Vigilant Ops, announced in a press release. Vigilant Ops is known for its expertise in product security and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) automation for healthcare and MedTech sectors.
The acquisition integrates Vigilant Ops’ compliance and transparency capabilities into C2A Security’s AI-driven product security orchestration platform. This combination enhances risk management and AI-SOAR (Security, Orchestration, Automation, and Response) features for organizations developing connected healthcare technologies.
Founded in 2019, Vigilant Ops supports clients including Bayer and Ascensia, focusing on FDA and EU MDR compliance. With the merger, C2A Security expands its global presence and strengthens its position in industries requiring rigorous supply-chain and regulatory security.
