Bouygues Telecom Expands Use of AXON Networks' Expresse for Broadband Service Assurance
Bouygues Telecom is expanding its deployment of the Expresse Access Network Assurance solution from AXON Networks to enhance service quality for its broadband subscribers, announced in a press release. The upgrade replaces Bouygues Telecom’s legacy SNMP monitoring platform with an AI based system offering deeper network visibility and automated issue detection.
The Expresse solution, part of AXON Networks’ Maestro platform, will support both DSL and PON environments. It uses telemetry and AI analytics to provide continuous insight into network performance across multi vendor infrastructures. This shift aims to improve operational efficiency and customer support for approximately six million fixed broadband users in France.
Bouygues Telecom’s Chief Technical Officer Jean-Paul Arzel said that the company required more advanced telemetry capabilities to manage its growing network complexity. Expresse enables proactive service assurance and faster issue resolution through automated root cause analysis, predictive insights, and next best action recommendations.
AXON Networks stated that the expansion reflects a wider move among service providers toward AI based operations and real time telemetry. Expresse currently supports over 97 million subscriber lines globally.
