Bonterra has acquired Deed to combine its enterprise grantmaking capabilities with Deed’s AI-driven employee engagement tools, offering companies a unified platform for managing giving, volunteering, and impact reporting.

Bonterra has acquired Deed, integrating Deed’s AI-powered employee engagement platform with Bonterra’s enterprise grantmaking technology. The combined offering aims to provide companies with a single, connected system for tracking giving, volunteering, and grantmaking activities.

Bonterra, with more than 25 years of experience supporting corporate grant programs, serves many leading global enterprises. Deed contributes a modern, AI-driven platform designed to increase employee participation and streamline corporate social responsibility initiatives.

The integration will enable organizations to manage employee engagement and philanthropic programs within one framework, supported by automation and real-time impact insights. The acquisition also strengthens the Bonterra Network, which connects more than 180,000 nonprofits and 25 million supporter profiles worldwide.

Financial advisors for the transaction included Berenson & Company for Bonterra and Raymond James for Deed, with legal counsel provided by Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom for Bonterra and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe for Deed.
