Bell Canada and Cohere have announced a strategic partnership to provide sovereign AI solutions for government and enterprise customers in Canada.

Bell Canada and Cohere have announced a strategic partnership to deliver sovereign AI-powered solutions for government and enterprise customers across Canada. This collaboration aims to provide full-stack AI solutions, leveraging Cohere's secure enterprise-grade AI models through Bell's AI Fabric.

The partnership will see Cohere's AI solutions integrated into Bell's infrastructure, making them available to government and enterprise clients. Cohere's North platform will be utilized to create AI agents and automation solutions, ensuring data security and privacy within Canada. Bell will serve as Cohere's preferred Canadian AI infrastructure provider, while Cohere becomes Bell's preferred agentic AI solution and LLM provider.

Bell AI Fabric, which includes Canada's largest sovereign AI data centers, will support this initiative. The Fabric consists of hardware and software infrastructure, advisory services, and an application layer, all underpinned by robust cybersecurity measures. This partnership is expected to enhance AI capabilities for Canadian organizations, offering a turnkey solution for deploying advanced AI technologies.
