Becker Launches AI Certificate for Accountants

Becker launched a certificate program that teaches accounting and finance professionals how to use AI assistants, Excel and Microsoft Copilot.

Becker announced in a press release the Foundations of AI for Accountants Certificate, an entry level program for accounting and finance professionals. The self paced program consists of four on demand courses and a capstone activity based on an integrated accounting workflow.

The curriculum covers prompting, output verification, Excel data preparation and validation, and responsible use of Microsoft Copilot. It uses accounting examples and synthetic data to teach Copilot chat, editing and agent capabilities.

Participants who complete the program receive 5.0 NASBA approved continuing professional education credits, a certificate and a digital badge. The program is available to individuals and as a separate addition for current Becker continuing professional education subscribers. Becker is part of Colibri Group.
