Bandwidth Launches Build Platform for AI Agent Communications

June 24, 2026
Bandwidth Inc. has introduced Bandwidth Build, a platform that allows AI agents and developers to autonomously provision and launch communications services on the Bandwidth Communications Cloud.

Bandwidth Inc. announced in a press release the launch of Bandwidth Build, a new platform that enables AI agents and developers to autonomously activate communications services and deploy voice applications on the Bandwidth Communications Cloud.

The Build platform allows AI agents to securely access Bandwidth APIs through the company's MCP Server to provision communication services and automate workflows. It supports access through a self-serve interface, API, command line, and SDKs. Once authenticated, users can launch voice applications within minutes using the same global infrastructure that supports enterprise communications.

Bandwidth Build includes a trial package with a pre-configured United States phone number, usage credits, and immediate access to Bandwidth's Voice API. The platform supports inbound and outbound calling, text-to-speech, transcription, recording, and conferencing functions on Bandwidth’s global network.

According to Bandwidth, the new service provides AI agents and developers a faster path from experimentation to production by reducing the time required to deploy communication capabilities.
