Baidu Apollo Go Starts Driverless Rides on Uber in Dubai
Baidu's Apollo Go vehicles are now available to riders through Uber in Dubai, the companies announced in a press release. New Horizon Luxury Transport is operating the fleet.
Riders in Dubai can be matched with a fully driverless Apollo Go vehicle when booking Uber Comfort or UberX. They can also select the Autonomous option in the Uber app.
The service is available at launch in selected locations in Umm Suqeim and Jumeirah. Baidu said the operating area is planned to expand later.
Dubai is the first market where the Baidu and Uber partnership has gone live. Apollo Go also operates in Dubai through its own app, after starting commercial fully driverless rides there in March 2026.
