Axon Vision Completes Evaluation of EDGE ClearSky Drone Detection System

Axon Vision has completed operational demonstrations and evaluations of its EDGE ClearSky drone detection system with a leading defense force. The system, part of the company's EDGE AI family, uses thermal sensing and AI processing to detect and intercept aerial threats.

Axon Vision announced in a press release the successful completion of operational demonstrations and evaluation activities for its EDGE ClearSky drone detection system. A leading defense force conducted an extensive assessment of the system against a wide range of FPV drone threats targeting maneuvering forces.

EDGE ClearSky is part of Axon Vision's EDGE AI family of computer vision solutions, developed to detect, identify, and intercept aerial threats directly from armored platforms. The system combines thermal sensing with AI processing to enable automated detection and response cycles through integration with onboard weapon systems.

The company stated that the system has advanced through operational maturation and continues to undergo additional trials with military customers in key markets. Axon Vision also maintains a strategic partnership with Leonardo DRS to supply counter-unmanned aerial system technologies for the U.S. military market, including demonstrator systems capable of detection and interception of airborne threats.
